Building blocks
Everything you need for deal sourcing, target enrichment, and pipeline management.
Source targets, enrich data, run diligence, manage pipeline — every block of the buy-side M&A workflow, on your machine and under your control.
Your Excel, visualized
Your Excel templates are automatically enriched and transformed into an interactive dashboard. One company per row becomes one company profile — with summary cards, charts, and deep-dive tabs.

Automatic AI-enabled data enrichment
Point our Research Assistant at any company and it will crawl the web, read sources, and extract the key strategic data points you need. Fill gaps across hundreds of targets at once, with citations back to every source.

Local-first collaboration — data is 100% yours
Each project lives in a folder you own — on your machine, in OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or any cloud storage your team already uses. Your project file, comments, backups, source files, and every field we enrich from the web all stay there. You decide who else can see it. The only cloud holding your data is the one you already use and control.
Excel for data, app for decisions
Edit the underlying data in Excel — right-click any value in a company profile to jump straight to its cell, and the dashboard refreshes the moment you save.
How it works
Three steps from install to a live deal pipeline.
Pick your M&A project template, build your target dataset, drive your pipeline. No implementation. No data migrations. No SaaS lock-in.
1
Set up your project
Pick a project template from our library, define your investment thesis, plug in your LLM and scraping API key. Alphahawk creates your local Excel workbook. Five minutes from install to ready.

2
Build your target dataset
Import your longlist from anywhere — your CRM, a Pitchbook export, a list you typed yesterday. Alphahawk runs your project template to enrich every target with the data points you actually need based on your growth thesis.

3
Drive every deal to close
Move targets through stages, score against your thesis, comment with your team, run diligence checklists, and one-click an IC-ready memo when you're ready to pitch.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Questions, answered.
What is Alphahawk?
Alphahawk is the AI operating system for buy-side M&A. Build longlists in minutes, enrich and score targets from public sources, and run your pipeline from a single Excel workbook on a shared folder — your data stays yours, and so do your LLM API keys. No third-party clouds.
Where does our M&A data live?
On your laptop. Alphahawk creates a local folder for each M&A project, with the master Excel workbook as the single source of truth — no Alphahawk backend, no vendor sync. Share the folder via OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box and your team works from the same folder. You control your data end to end.
Can multiple people on our team use it?
Yes. Collaboration runs through the shared project folder on OneDrive, SharePoint, or your network drive — every team member gets a live view and write-back into the same folder. Comments, ownership, and fit-assessment scoring sync across the team.
Where does the AI-enriched data come from?
Public sources — Companies House, SEC filings, news, company websites, LinkedIn business pages, Glassdoor, and a long list of others. Every enriched field is stamped with its source URL and fetch timestamp. Audit any data point in one click.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is set per engagement, sized to your team and the scale of your concurrent M&A projects. Download the app and try it. When you're ready, request a live demo from inside the product — we'll walk through your use case and quote the tier that fits.
Whose AI is it? Are you sending our queries to your servers?
No. You bring your own LLM API key, and LLM calls go from your machine directly to your LLM provider — Alphahawk never proxies, intercepts, or logs them. Retention, region, and enterprise terms are governed by your provider contract.
Is it secure enough for confidential M&A projects?
Yes. Your longlist, valuations, comments, and analysis live in your Excel workbook on your machine and your team's cloud share. Alphahawk has no backend that holds deal data, and AI calls use your own API key. Nothing about your pipeline touches our infrastructure.
Will it work with my existing Excel models?
Yes. During the onboarding process we can cover your current templates so that you can work with that data right away — your model, your structure, your formulas. No schema migration required.
What if Alphahawk goes away?
Your data stays exactly where it is — in your Excel files, on your machine, in your cloud share. The desktop app is a viewer and editor over a workbook you already own. Remove Alphahawk and your pipeline is still fully readable, editable, and shareable in plain Excel.
Mac or Windows?
Both. Native installers for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 10/11 are available. Same project folder, same workbook — different users on different OS platforms can still collaborate on the same project files.
Does it replace Pitchbook, DealCloud, or Affinity?
Different layer. Pitchbook is market and company private data, DealCloud is your CRM, Affinity is relationship intelligence — Alphahawk is the workspace where your team actually runs the deal end-to-end: create your longlist, enrich your dataset, score targets, decide, move deals through to close. The other tools feed the key data you need to move things forward via Alphahawk.
